CONCLUSION

In my opinion this one of the best reading book which i´ve read in all my academic life, this book is very different than other books you can read and is easier to read . The topics are really realistic and the show a good perspective of the diary life and problems of a middle class in Thatcher period. You can have a really good follow of Adrian´s life and all his feelings of all type( familiar, personal about his sexuality…) it´s very interesting and funny.

CHAPTER 12

The chapter starts with the wedding of Bert, Adrian talk about the wedding and all the space and people who went. Bert and his wife are going to live belong in a new house.

In this chapter Adrian also talks about his homework’s and Pandora's homework’s. Adrian has bad days and he has got migraine for a few days and he can't write anything.

Well let to talk about Adrian's parents, Adrian's mother are tired because her husband are every day at home and he does nothing and she gives an ultimatum to he, or he search for a new job, starts doing housework or he leaves home, this deed makes that Adrian's father starts to search a new job sending his curriculum and looking for the interviews, they only live with the state money and to save money the both, His mother and his father, stop of smoke, but earlier his father founds a new job and they starts to smoke again. His mother also has an uncomfortable moment when in San Valentine's day she received a card from Mr Lucas but she doesn't give importance to the action.

But we start to chat about the main character, Adrian, during this chapter he passes a lot of emotional moments which. Well at the start of the chapter everything continues great, in San Valentine's day he received a post card from Pandora and he also sends one post card and a poem to Pandora. But one day the things become to be bad, two girl’s are in love with Adrian and they start to send notes to Adrian and he being polite says that he is in love with Pandora... But one day in a meeting of politics Adrian meet a new girl who is pretty and very intelligent and she doesn't have a good relationship with Pandora and she's disagree in a lot of ideas. They talk at and eat belong at school and Adrian talk with his friend Nigel and says that he likes the girld, Barbara, Nigel tells that information to all the school and Adrian lose Pandora and Barbara. After that at home Adrian has an accident and he ends at the hospital, when he arrives home he call Pandora and talk about the incident and she is going to visit Adrian, probably the continues with their love but we aren't able to know it.

My personal opinion:

I failed with my last prognostic and the end doesn´t end very happy. All is like the start except that Bert is marriage his fathers are back again his father have a job and he love Pandora. Very similar that the start!! But probably I thing that like te start Adrian come back with Pandora. I don´t understand why Adrian continue be Nigel friend

CHAPTER 11

We start the chapter with one great new Mrs. Mole is in home again, this thing cause Adrian different emotions he feels happy because his mother is again with he but he doesn't now how to behave with she because she left he and his father and now comes back normally.

They continues with out phone and Mrs. Mole discover the bill into Adrian's bedroom and he pay it  with his money from his bank account.

The Christmas are nearly and Adrian makes all which he can to buy presents for everyone specially to Pandora and his  parents. He is also in a Christmas play at school and he make it with Pandora.

In Christmas day Adrian get up really early and he founds the only thing which he wants: a racing bike. He also take the breakfast to his parents and give their presents, he makes everything for create a good clime to says that he had invited Bert and his girlfriend for lunch. They had a good lunch but a bit late.

The following days he ride on his bike and he visit his grandma and lunch with she and he also goes to see Pandora for give she her present, she also bought a present for he.

The year ends and he thinks about all the year and he thinks that the year had been different and emotionally complete.

New year, new live, Adrian makes a new list of New Year's resolution. He also recives a wedding invitation from Bert and his girldfriend they're going to get married with more than 80 years!!

He assesses the aspect of his father and compare with the USA president.

Rehearsal:  a time when all the people involved in a play, dance, etc. practise in order to prepare for a performance.He's a producer with three plays in rehearsal.

MY PERSONAL OPINION

My personal opinion is the happy end jajaja. All is good his father come again they don’t have money problem and he have the perfect present in Christmas he have his perfect girlfriend because he fall in love with Pandora and for the end Bert the old man marriage with his girlfriend!!

So my personal opinion in the first chapter is true i though that if the things are very bad Adrian will be strong and he can superate all and and the end the book have a funny end, so Iám very luckly. There are only one new chapter and I suppose that nothing bad is going to happened

CHAPTER 10

Adrian´s dog was in the house of his grandma and when he sees it he was socked because the dog looks older.

Adrian also talks about he has been in a two-day survival trip with his youth club and he misses a lot of things of the civilitation,food,TV,radio,clean his teeth…

Adrian received a letter from the hospital where reads that he´s  got an operation few days later to remove his tonsils,, with this new he feels shocked and more after his father says he that he was in the waiting list for nine years, but the life continues and he has to be ready for the operation and he spend the days previus the operation for buy new pajamas and listen to the advices of the closest only tell bad experiences instead of encourage him. One day before the operation he has sleep at hospital, and he couldn,t sleep in all the night and the moment get and the operation he has to sleep at hospital, and he couldn’t sleep in all the night and the moment get and operation was goo but in the following days he couldn´t eat normal food he only eat normal food because the other eat are harder than eat razor blades and he was ennoy with the nurses because they forces to eat.

Now Adrian is fine and he goes to a bonfire party and he enjoys it.

The things with Pandora isn´t so well as before and they have a serious talk one night, relative to Pandora are that he is hiding the phone will because it´s very big because he call Pandora when she was in Tunisa, and finally the company cut the phone off. He continuous seeing Bert because he visit him sometimes where he says that Bert has got a new girlfriend

MY PERSONAL OPINION.

My personal opinion is thank to good Adrian is very lucky I think that now is better and go better and the end I think that his father and mother going out again so and the situation with the nurse and Adrian is very comic

CHAPTER 9

During this chapter Pandora is in Tunisa and Adrian misses her and he's writing about her always and he write her she write and call he sometimes to inform he about the situation. At the start of the chapter Adrian write a poem for Pandora and after that he receives a post card from Pandora where she tells he that she can't buys he any present. The days pass and Pandora can't comes back to her house because someone stealing credit card from her father and they can't back home. Finally she comes back and they continues with their normal life in love.

The school starts in a few days and Adrian have to buy a new uniform because the other one are small, the new uniform coos 200 pounds and Adrian think that it very expensive and needless.

 The other main topic is Bert the old man have to go home after living with neighbours of Adrian and he isn't self-sufficient, and finally after many problems he comes to live to a nursing home where after the other man died he is the only man on the nursing home.


During this chapter Adrian feel fine but at the starts he misses Pandora but when he comes back home and he feels really well but not all is good because a lot of shin on his chin and he's afraid of losing Pandora.

One thing which is different in this chapter is that Adrian doesn't write long paragraphs, he writes short frases with the information which we need

MY PERSONAL OPINION

My personal opinion is that Adrian finally go out with Pandora I can’t imagine if they are in love at the end of the book he touch his boobies two times so his sexuality start to fly.

The pay the 200 pounds and I don’t know who have 200 pound if they can pay the electricity

Chapter 8

During this chapter Adrian have to moves to his grandma's house because in his hour there aren't electricity. There his grandma discover evidences of Barry hits Adrian and she goes to Barry's house to recover Adrian's money. Adrian feels very thankful with his grandma and he buys she a chocolates.
In Adrian's family the things aren’t well his father has lost his job and Doreen Slater, the special mate, comes to live with Adrian and his father.
In other aspect during this chapter Bert, the old man who Adrian helps and visit become very ill and an ambulance took him to hospital and there he start to be better. But the most important think in this chapter are that he starts to go out with Pandora, it starts with a lot of intermediaries but they start to go out and the goes together with every places.

During this chapter Adrian is very happy because he makes a dream really, and he are in love with Pandora.

My personal opinion is that Adrian family have serius problem and they need help of their grandma for the electricity and for her problems in the school so his grandma is the person that help the family. Now the father lost his job and his mother no are with they so I think they start to have money problem.

And I think that the old man don´t live a lot

CHAPTER 7

The chapter starts with one reflexion of Adrian after the weekend in Niegel´s house ands, he talk about great life which has Nigel on his house.

The chapter starts with the new that Adrian is going to visit his mother to the other city and there he stay for a few days, feeling moved by Mr.Lucas because he is constantly kissing or playing with his mother.

When he come back his house Adrian continuous with his life but some days after he recibed a postcard from his mother and she are going to visit and his father.

When his mother goes to his house a terrible event happen, they haven´t got electricity because they haven´t got money to pay it

During this chapter , Adrian have a lot of situations to feel happy or angry or sad because of all the different aspects and positions where he is.

MY PERSONAL OPINION

I thing that Nigel is a bad person because Pandora and Niegel are kissing all day in his face and he know what Adrian feel.

And the electricity questions is very thipical in Thatcher period the poor persons don´t have any help and in general the book reflect very good this period. I thing that the situation start to be vary bad and Adrian start to be sad

CHAPTER 6

The chapter start with the new with the new that Nigel , the Adrian´s friend who was going out with Pandora, is hearth broken, Adrian tell he his supposition about his mother, and of course his mother, father and Mr. Lucas have a civilized meeting and there Adrian´s suppositions become true his mother leaves the city and going to live to another city with Mr. Lucas, this fact ennoys Adrian,s father and he started to fight with Mr. Lucas in the garden and everyone could see the fight and Adrian in his bedroom.

And his mother leaves home and he stays with his father thinking and comforting he , looking at his actions and hearing he because he think that his father can make a foolishness and become suicidal. In this days are Adrian´s birthday and his mother wasn´t there.

The things at school continues normally, and Adrian,s life not change a lot, he goes to Nigel´s house one night and he rodes on Nigel´s bike and he say that the bike are the best.

Well during this chapter Adrian feels sad because his mother isn´t there but he try to continues normally his life, he doesn´t think off the success

PERSONAL OPINION

My personal opinion is that Adrian relation to Pandora is going to be better now Adrian the thing isn´t go to worse so all be going to better and Adrian and his father are desperate because now the divorce is definitely because Adrian´s mother going to other city.

CHAPTER 5

We start this chapter with the new which says that Adrian woke up a lot of spots on his face and he called his grandma to she help he. Adrian goes to grandma´s house and there an emergency doctor goes to see him.

In grandma´s house he hear his father talking with his grandma and He heard the worse which he can hear his parents are separating, the following day in Adrian,s house became colder because the differences with his parents are bigger and they doesn´t eat, talk, sleep or simply stay together in any moment.

At the same time Adrian looks that his mother was communicating eith Mr Lucas and also he´s selling his house for a lot of money and Adrian´s mother says that he´s going to live in bigger house. Relative with the money which Mr.Lucas are going to sell his house Adrian think about what he does with these money.

He doesn´t abandon his old man and the social worker who called before said that he´s going to go to a nursing home and he try to makes that this doesn´t happen-

Finally his mother disappeared for two days, but no all are bad in this days and Pandora is maiden

During this chapter Adrian feels really bad because his parents are separating and this make that he leave to make things twice for his parents be as happy as they can.

This chapter don´t surprise me because the reader now this when Mr. Lucas appear in the book the reader suppose what will happen. I don´t know what happen at the end but I suppose that if this wook have a “happy” end the came back

CHAPTER 4

In this chapter Adrian writ in his diary that his mother are Reading a new sex book and also said tan in one moment she goes to her bedroom and tell he about the life in the marriage and said that is a jail after that he things that is melodramatic, the thins in adrian´s father become to be more serius and the Mr. Lucas figure continuous having and important paper there

Adrian also write new information, he started his paper around and he got up really early every day and he also have to pay to Barry Knet to stop hit he. He also say that his boss give him some papers for his hard work.

This chapter are emotionally interesting and Adrian can think hypothesis about his spots and people actions

I thing that I this book make you feel like sympathy with Adrian because you read his life and you can feel the Adrian´s feeling so I liked a lot and  I thing that is very funny I know that all going to worse but Adrian is very optimist and not happy but no sad a lot of person in his situation are very sad but Adrian resist so I thing is for I like

CHAPTER3

During this chapter starts the nearly days of Valentine´s Day and the situation in Adrian´s house isn´t well, his parents spent many time with arguments and after they have feeling with Pandora he asked himself philosophical questions about love

In other aspects ih this chapter Mr Lucas come to live in Adrian´s house because Mrs.Lucas stay at their house during many time, he continues being a model man with Adrian´s mother. Also his father is having a bad moment because agree at the successes with Adrian mother his car did break down and he go to work in bus.

Well let to continues talking about Adrian, he continues cist his old man , his mother are reading a book about women and Adrian reads something on it and he think that the vocabulary is full of rude words. And finally in Valentine´s Day he recibe  only one card from his mother and in the school Pandora Barry Kent and Niegel have a lot and all was talking about the cards that they have

Finally Barry Kent one bully started to bulling Adrian and hit Adrian if he didn´t pay half of pound a day

CHAPTER TWO

In this chapter Adrian continues talking us about events that happens.

In this chapter the troubles in Adrian´s family and Mrs. Lucas started to be serious finally Mrs. and Mr lucas divorcees and Adrian mum get a job ( Adrian don´t like this because he don´t now what happened with the house work) in the same place that Mr. Lucas work and the go together every day.

Adrian also talk about his feelings with Pandora ,during that time he talked with a friend (Niegel) about Pandora and he said that Pandora´s father was a milkman and after he know that there was false because his friend trated to lay he about Pandora for try to he leave she. No many far Adrian discover that Pandora was going out with Niegel. That success make that Adrian be very sad and he put in his book at different hours PANDORAAA PANDORA WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?

In other aspects Adrian are in a group of people to help old persons and he have to visit his own old man he said that the man are very unusual because the man who he have to visit isn´t a normal man with 89 years old, he isn´t a relaxed man , he smoke and drink a lot and he have a big dos that scared Adrian.

During this chapter Adrian feels really bad because he lose Pandora and the situation in his house isn’t really well.

I thing that the situation went wrong because in the last chapter they only had a bas situation with his family only what now he fall in love with Pandora and go to the old´s man house and he is very sad to Pandora and his best friend betray Adrian. I thing that Mr lucas and his mother fall in love divorced father so now nothing isn´t good in his life.

CHAPTER ONE

In this chapter Adrian tell us information about the first days of the year and a presentation of his situation

He started to write his New Year’s resolutions .After the topic promise of people always did he started to tell us that his parents are ill the dog are naughty and he has to make a lot of things in the house.

One that after Mr Lucas ( his neighbor) started to go to his house to help he and certainly to flirt with Adrian´s Mole mother.

The holidays finish and he come back to school where h know Pandora the new girl of his class who feel attracted.

During this time who he start school again and know better Pandora he look that Mr Lucas continue visit his mother every day, but he is most worried with one spot on his chin.

My personal opinion is that Adrian have a hard life because he have problem in house with his parent´s(they are alcoholic) and his father is very violent and in the school I thing that like all book´s and the first the relation with Pandora became bad but at the end are good

ADAPTATIONS OF THE BOOK

This book was very famous so i like to say that this book had a adaptation on tv in a TV SHOW  

like curiosity the famous actor harry potter is inspired in adrian mole bacuse he live in a dificult familiary situation too

PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK

The book start describing the situation of Adrian Mole. The family situation is not we call a traditional family him father´s are alcoholic and they are discussing a lot and him mother have a relation with his neighbor and him father it’s very violent he have a dog but is not very loved.

So now we says that he live in a marginal situation.

In the college he don´t have a best situation. He fall in love with a girl who called Pandora but him friend Nigel go out whit Pandora. In the college a bully who called Barry Kent hit Adrian if he don´t give money to Barry

And at the end he go to help a old person who called Bert bexter

BIOGRAPHY OF SUE TOWNSEND

Townsend was born in Leicester in the age of 80, whent she went to school secretary was Mrs Claricotes, a name she used for the school secretary in the Adrian Mole books. Her father was a postman and she was the eldest of five sisters. She left school at the age of 15 and worked in a variety of jobs including factory worker and shop assistant. She married a sheet-metal worker and had three children under five by the time she was 22. She joined a writers' group at the Phoenix Theatre, Leicester in her thirties. 

.The Growning of Adrian Mole was reputedly based on her children's experiences. Several of the teachers who appear in the book (such as Ms Fossington-Gore and Mr Dock) are based on actual staff who worked at the school in the early 1980s. The first two published stories appeared in a short-lived arts journal entitled simply magazine the editing and production of which Townsend was involved, featuring the character then still called Nigel Mole.

The first two books in the series appealed to many readers as a realistic and humorous treatment of the inner life of an adolescent boy. They also captured something of the zeitgeist of Britain during the Tatcher period.
