CHAPTER ONE

In this chapter Adrian tell us information about the first days of the year and a presentation of his situation

He started to write his New Year’s resolutions .After the topic promise of people always did he started to tell us that his parents are ill the dog are naughty and he has to make a lot of things in the house.

One that after Mr Lucas ( his neighbor) started to go to his house to help he and certainly to flirt with Adrian´s Mole mother.

The holidays finish and he come back to school where h know Pandora the new girl of his class who feel attracted.

During this time who he start school again and know better Pandora he look that Mr Lucas continue visit his mother every day, but he is most worried with one spot on his chin.

Spot: a small, usually round area of colour that is differently coloured or ligther or darker than the surface around it

Example: He had a spot of grease on his tie

Treacle: type of color like the honey

Example: He´s got treacle eyes

Netball: Basketball

My personal opinion

My personal opinion is that Adrian have a hard life because he have problem in house with his parent´s(they are alcoholic) and his father is very violent and in the school I thing that like all book´s and the first the relation with Pandora became bad but at the end are good

I don´t like to have the Adrian Mole life 

ADAPTATIONS OF THE BOOK

This book was very famous so i like to say that this book had a adaptation on tv in a TV SHOW  

like curiosity the famous actor harry potter is inspired in adrian mole bacuse he live in a dificult familiary situation too

PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK

The book start describing the situation of Adrian Mole. The family situation is not we call a traditional family him father´s are alcoholic and they are discussing a lot and him mother have a relation with his neighbor and him father it’s very violent he have a dog but is not very loved.

So now we says that he live in a marginal situation.

In the college he don´t have a best situation. He fall in love with a girl who called Pandora but him friend Nigel go out whit Pandora. In the college a bully who called Barry Kent hit Adrian if he don´t give money to Barry

And at the end he go to help a old person who called Bert bexter

BIOGRAPHY OF SUE TOWNSEND

Townsend was born in Leicester in the age of 80, whent she went to school secretary was Mrs Claricotes, a name she used for the school secretary in the Adrian Mole books. Her father was a postman and she was the eldest of five sisters. She left school at the age of 15 and worked in a variety of jobs including factory worker and shop assistant. She married a sheet-metal worker and had three children under five by the time she was 22. She joined a writers' group at the Phoenix Theatre, Leicester in her thirties. 

.The Growning of Adrian Mole was reputedly based on her children's experiences. Several of the teachers who appear in the book (such as Ms Fossington-Gore and Mr Dock) are based on actual staff who worked at the school in the early 1980s. The first two published stories appeared in a short-lived arts journal entitled simply magazine the editing and production of which Townsend was involved, featuring the character then still called Nigel Mole.

The first two books in the series appealed to many readers as a realistic and humorous treatment of the inner life of an adolescent boy. They also captured something of the zeitgeist of Britain during the Tatcher period.
